Roses Memories Leaves Always Forever Love Reminders Photographs Pale

Midnight Rose

She still wears those memories of you
Like midnight roses wrapped so tight
Around that slim throat blue black dying
Flower kisses against such pale skin
Reminders of the depth of your love
Five midnight roses cling so close
Soft yellowing leaves set them off
As her eyes stare wide unseeing
While they try to lift those roses
Off her pale pale unmoving throat
She will always wear those memories
Captured forever Permanently marked
In clinical criminal photographs
Reminders of the depth of your love

Wicked Games Buying Guide Ideas Red Fire Spring Preventive

Wicked Man

Wicked wicked man allowing me
To believe you might be buying
All these red fire desire ideas
That spring within me because
I forgot to take precaution
I forgot those preventive rules
Games are only fun to be played
When you know the rules the guides
Boundaries within which to keep
All these red fire desire ideas
About one wicked wicked man

Reckon ~ Round ~ Riven ~ Rock ~ Regret ~ Reap ~ Road ~ Rust ~ Recognize

Blackbird's Singing Again

Reckon you know the story too well
Regrets reaped then heaped so high so high
'Round abouts here we recognize
That driven by a raven look
Don't stop gotta keep running
Blackbird's gonna getcha tonight
Your riven heart in small pieces
Dust off the rust off those boots
Hit the road hit the road hit it
Turn up the music so you can't hear
The screaming calls of your own death
Rock on regardless of who gets hurt
Reckon you know that story quite well.

POEM: Japanese Mermaids Don't Sing

Mirror, Cover, Alone, More, Cold, Mermaid, Walk, Dive, Sea

Japanese Mermaids Don’t Sing

Sometimes I see glimpses of her
-- Flashes of gold red black white --
Koi under lily pads floating cover.
Diving the depths again alone,
She’s a Japanese mermaid
Afraid to comb her hair any more.
Dropped her precious silver mirror
Shattered
On his rocky stone cold heart.

Shall she attempt the pain again?
Divide her legs. Let her heart bleed
As she walks into love once more.
Mute because she gave it away
To the wrong handsome prince.
Or would it be better safer calmer
To dive again into that sea welcoming
Dark depths to hide her self that light
-- Flashes gold red black white --
Lilies and koi hiding from the pain.

Poem: Restless Screams

Journey Strain Urge Tug Pull Guide Seek Distance Sea

Restless Screams

Sometimes urges--primal screams of myself if you will
Yank at me like restless children who tug my hand
Come with us. Play with us. Run with us. Live please.
Should I seek these winsome toddler thoughts--follow?
Should I stay planted in my known domesticated self
Would the journey to the wilding that is within
Strain my sanity. Snap me like a twig. Break me down?
Pull me closer to that edge with fantasies of hope
With no map in hand I must let that muse guide me
Will she pull me over the bone-shattering cliff?
Will she drown me in that soul-sucking sea?
There in the distance I can hear those cries
Wailing, laughing, crying, shouting, screaming
Those restless children. Those primal screams of me.

Poem: Weekender (9Words)

Interesting * Shut * Said * Coffee * Weekend * Wake * Dove * Earth * Choice

Weekender

Wake me I said and
Shut the curtain, love
Draw me tight like drum
Skin waiting touch me
Touch me like I am earth
And you a spade waiting
To turn me over again
Making choice cuts
A prime decision perhaps
Interesting on some level
Where you lick me down
Dove chocolate sweet I am
Your tongue diving deep
Reminding me that I said
Make me forget this day
Love me like strong coffee
Hot, sweet, rich, creamy
Drip me from your lips
Like I am your weekend
