SPREAD: Polyamourous Relationship (Adding A 3rd Partner)
One unique problem in a polyamourous relationship is the idea of adding someone to an established family. Whether that is a family of 2 or more, the addition of even one more will add to and take away from the dynamics of that group. I looked for a spread that might be used for this, but found none. Then someone asked a similar question on Aeclectic Tarot. So I dove in to design a spread to address this question of what do we need to do when we add someone.

You can see the results on my blog, Musings On The Tarot. And feel free to pass this announcement on to any poly folk who also might be interested.

My brain still kind of hurts trying to sort out the dynamics of that. I have enough trouble keeping up with my monogamous one!

Grin, 22 cards makes for a very involved spread. I tried to keep it simple, but simple goes out the window with one person much less two or three! :D

I think I'll stick with my format, so to speak. Boni always says that with an artist, you're getting a myriad of personalities anyhow. ;)

Very interesting work. I'm poly although the personal dynamics prevents living in a poly based household which is sad for me but that's another story entirely...

Anyway, as a poly I wanted to thank you for posting this. I've never had a problem adapting my readings to fit in with poly issues when need be but it's nice to see that someone is thinking of us

The poly thing is something very foreign to me but as a gay christian I am not stranger to feeling misjudged and not understood. So I try to keep an open mind as others have done for me.

The nice thing about being a professional reader is that I can determine who I want to read for. I am very familiar with the poly lifestyle so it's not a hard one for me. I would be hard-pressed to read for an animal abuser though.

See, THAT is where I cross the line. Animals and children, because they aren't in a position to give the consent required. And it's just not right.

Nod. I have a kneejerk reaction to some brands of Christian as well. The ones who are open-minded enough to ask for a reading are fine. The ones who preach against me can kiss my ... well, grin, you know.

As a left-wing, gnostic/esoterically inclined christian, I have no issues with reading. I love it. I think those people are missing out on some of the rich spiritual tools available to us.
